  • An additional patient leaflet is available with Accuzyme Spray. Talk to your pharmacist if you have questions about this information.
  • Accuzyme Spray is for external use only.
  • Before each use of Accuzyme Spray, clean the affected area with saline or another mild wound cleansing solution. Do not use hydrogen peroxide.
  • The first time Accuzyme Spray is used, prime the pump by holding the spray bottle upright directly over the wound and pumping 10 to 14 times.
  • Shake well before each use, then tap the bottom of the bottle on a solid surface several times to loosen the liquid from the inside of the bottle.
  • Hold the spray bottle about 1 to 2 inches from the wound and use even, firm pressure to spray the medicine. When sprayed, the medicine should cover an area about the size of a nickel. Completely cover the wound with medicine. The wound should not be visible under the medicine. Cover with appropriate dressing (eg, bandages) and secure into place.
