Multiple rename files on MACOS

Working on Big Data we need more than a simple rename file and hacking on this I found out how do it with many files in command line.

Considering you have a hundred files with .dbf extension, as following:

And you need to rename them to .xls

You can create a loop and using mv command you cand run on this easly:

In case you are using MacOS and typing the above command you will have them, as follow:
