How To Discover More Joy Moments In Your Life

It had been probably 20 years or more since I had been out camping. My children are grown and my husband is not interested. When my girlfriend was bemoaning the fact that she didn’t have anyone to camp with, I jumped at the chance.

Here was an opportunity to discover if camping brought as much joy to my life as I remembered. Luckily she had the tent and much of the gear, including a camping cot for me to roll out my sleeping bag. My bones are getting a little creaky for sleeping on the ground!

The aim of forest bathing is to slow down and become immersed in the natural environment. {You are to } tune in to the smells, textures, tastes and sights of the forest and environment. The practice can help boost immunity and mood and help reduce stress.

For me, besides being relaxed, I felt deeply spiritually connected to God and the beautiful creation around me, like bountiful joy overflowing and immersed in love.
