What To Expect At First Horizon Park This Baseball Season

There are always rules.

Here is what you need to know before you visit First Horizon Park.

We are going mobile with all tickets this season. Whether you are coming to one game, have a group outing, or are a Season Ticket Member, you will have to use a mobile device to enter the ballpark.

If you purchase at the Ticket Office right before the game, you will be texted your ticket which you can then immediately show at the gate.

Pro tip: Make sure your screen brightness is turned up for easy, quick scanning to get into the ballpark!

In order to keep the players healthy and able to play, contact will not be allowed with the team, including autographs pregame and postgame. While we know that this limits the fan experience, our main priority is to keep all of our players and fans safe and healthy as we return to the ballpark.

Autographs will also not take place this year but stay tuned for ways to collect your favorite Sounds autographs even if they don’t sign it in front of you.

We are bummed. We know you will be, too. But with the health and safety of our fans being at the forefront of our minds, we will not have the inflatables in the Fun Zone this season. You will be able to enjoy the typical games out at The Band Box — bags (or cornhole if that’s more your style), Giant Jenga, shuffleboard and Ping Pong, as well as Speed Pitch and Mini Golf! Plus, there are additional high-top tables spread out in The Band Box area to give you more space and a claimed space to be during the game.

You’ve seen the Titans and the Preds implement this during their seasons and, surprise, we are too. You will not be able to use cash at First Horizon Park. All concession stands, the Pro Shop, Mini Golf and the Box Office will only take credit or debit cards. If fans bring only cash to First Horizon Park, they can purchase pre-loaded $20 Visa gift cards at Advanced Tickets located next to Guest Services near section 114. The gift cards can be used anywhere at First Horizon Park and can be used at any outside business that accepts Visa cards.

Previously designated smoking areas at the ballpark are all gone. The only place you can smoke after you have entered First Horizon Park is by exiting out the Home Plate Entrance into the designated area so that our staff can let you re-enter. Vaping is not allowed inside the ballpark.

Yep, you know it. While the capacity of the ballpark has increased, we will still be encouraging social distancing throughout the ballpark to keep health and safety top of mind. There will be markers in concession stand lines, socially distant seating sections, and restricted buffer zones around the playing field.

You may not be able to get as close to the field as you are used to, but we can assure you, waves and smiles from the players will be plentiful.

If you would like to sit in a socially distanced section during your trip, purchase tickets in sections 104, 113, 118 and/or 121. The sections will be “pod-style” seating only with tickets available in groups of two, four or six. All tickets in socially distanced sections are subject to availability. These sections will remain socially distanced for the entire 2021 season.
